Nashville, Tenn. — Clarity Veterinary Real Estate, which invests in veterinary office properties throughout the U.S., has completed the acquisition of a building that is home to a leading veterinary hospital in the Cleveland suburb of Concord, Ohio.
The building, which offers 9,000 square feet, is 100% leased to Big Creek Veterinary Hospital.
“We are pleased to acquire this outstanding veterinary property and by the opportunity to work directly with the veterinarians in this respected group in helping them make the most of their real estate and build an even stronger practice,” said Chip Conk, CEO of Montecito Medical. Clarity is a wholly owned subsidiary of Montecito Medical, an experienced real estate investment company that has completed more than $5 billion in medical real estate transactions.
With 9 veterinarians and a history in the community that spans 20 years, Big Creek Veterinary Hospital is the market-dominant practice in Concord, an affluent suburb northeast of Cleveland. Nearly two-thirds of residents within a 5-mile radius of the animal hospital own a pet — significantly higher than the national average — and also are more likely than average to take their pets to the vet at least once a year.
At the Concord property, veterinarians provide a wide range of services, including medical, surgical, ophthalmological and dental care for pets, laser therapy, pain management and emergency care.
